Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sunita Williams, 60, and her partner had split up. Is the American astronaut really single again?

Williams spotted alone

A fan spotted Sunita Williams walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 22, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sunita back on the market?

A rep for Sunita Williams was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the astronaut was splitting hit the internet Monday (March 23), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
