Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sydney Tamiia Poitier, 52, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Veronica Mars or Joan of Arcadia really single again?

Poitier spotted alone

A fan spotted Sydney Tamiia Poitier walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of September 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sydney Tamiia back on the market?

A rep for Sydney Tamiia Poitier was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Monday (September 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
