Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sylvia Syms, 92, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Queen or What a Girl Wants really single again?

Syms spotted alone

A fan spotted Sylvia Syms walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of June 11, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sylvia back on the market?

A rep for Sylvia Syms was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Friday (June 12), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
