Break-Up Rumors, Is Tana French Single Again?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Tana French, 52, and her partner had split up. Is the author of In the Woods really single again?

French spotted alone

A fan spotted Tana French walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of August 29, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Tana back on the market?

A rep for Tana French was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the author was splitting hit the internet Sunday (August 30), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
