Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Nightwish ex-lead singer Tarja Turunen, 48, and her partner had split up. Is the Finnish singer really single again?

Turunen spotted alone

A fan spotted Tarja Turunen walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 26, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Tarja back on the market?

A rep for Tarja Turunen was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Monday (April 27), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
