Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Taylor Swift, 36, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for albums like The Tortured Poets Department, Fortnight, Midnights, Anti Hero, You Belong with Me or Love Story, hit songs like The Tortured Poets Department, Fortnight, Midnights, Anti Hero, You Belong with Me or Love Story really single again?

Swift spotted alone

A fan spotted Taylor Swift walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of June 23, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Taylor back on the market?

A rep for Taylor Swift was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Joe Jonas, Lucas Till, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal or Harry Styles - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (June 24), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
