It has been exactly 4 long years since Terry Jones died in London on January 21, 2020 at the age of 77. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed comedians of his generation.

Today, fans of Terry Jones (Monty Python's Flying Circus, ...) along with the rest of the world have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Jones, a cultural icon

Born Terence Graham Parry Jones in Colwyn Bay on February 1, 1942, his career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in Welsh history. Jones was not just a great comedian, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1969 he touched the hearts of millions with ‘Monty Python's Flying Circus’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
