Is the 42-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Tessa Thompson, 42, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Veronica Mars or Westworld really single again?

Thompson spotted alone

A fan spotted Tessa Thompson walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 18, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Tessa back on the market?

A rep for Tessa Thompson was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (March 19), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
