It has been exactly one year since Tom Wilkinson died on December 30, 2023 at the age of 75. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Wilkinson, a cultural icon
Born Thomas Geoffrey Wilkinson in Leeds on December 12, 1948, his career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in English history. Wilkinson was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
In 2012 he touched the hearts of millions as Graham Dashwood in ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
It's been one year since the tragic loss of Tom Wilkinson and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Tom Wilkinson is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
