Val Kilmer died in Los Angeles on April 1, 2025 at the age of 65. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Born Val Edward Kilmer in Los Angeles on December 31, 1959, his career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in American history. Kilmer was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1988 he touched the hearts of millions as Madmartigan in ‘Willow’. His legacy will continue to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
