Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Valérie Bègue, 40, and her partner had split up. Is the former Miss France really single again?

Bègue spotted alone

A fan spotted Valérie Bègue walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Valérie back on the market?

A rep for Valérie Bègue was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the model was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
