Is the 56-year-old journalist officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Valérie Benaïm, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the journalist best known as cast member of Touche pas à mon poste really single again?

Benaïm spotted alone

A fan spotted Valérie Benaïm walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 31, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Valérie back on the market?

A rep for Valérie Benaïm was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the journalist was splitting hit the internet Thursday (January 1), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
