Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Valerie June, 44, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her album Pushin' Against a Stone really single again?

June spotted alone

A fan spotted Valerie June walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of August 26, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Valerie back on the market?

A rep for Valerie June was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Thursday (August 27), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
