Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Vanessa-Mae, 47, and her partner had split up. Is the musician best known for albums like Storm or The Violin Player really single again?

Vanessa-Mae spotted alone

A fan spotted Vanessa-Mae walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 3, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Vanessa-Mae back on the market?

A rep for Vanessa-Mae was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the musician was splitting hit the internet Thursday (December 4), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
