Villela created a stir on Sunday when rumors have surfaced that her career was over.

Sad news for Villela fans. Speculation had been rife that the Mexican actress best known for her role on the television series Una Maid en Manhattan, is about to announce her retirement from acting, at age 46, with immediate effect.

Other reports hinted that she may branch out into other creative fields she is better at (and more interested in), though they didn't provide any details.
