Is the Bangles guitarist officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Bangles guitarist Vicki Peterson, 68, and her partner had split up. Is the American guitarist really single again?

Peterson spotted alone

A fan spotted Vicki Peterson walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 9, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Vicki back on the market?

A rep for Vicki Peterson was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the guitarist was splitting hit the internet Saturday (January 10), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
