Is the 63-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Virginia Madsen, 63, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role in Sideways really single again?

Madsen spotted alone

A fan spotted Virginia Madsen walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 18, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Virginia back on the market?

A rep for Virginia Madsen was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Saturday (April 19), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
