Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Yoko Ono, 93, and her partner had split up. Is the John Lennon's widow really single again?

Ono spotted alone

A fan spotted Yoko Ono walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of July 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Yoko back on the market?

A rep for Yoko Ono was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the artist - known for having been romantically involved with John Lennon - was splitting hit the internet Thursday (July 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
