Popular princess Zara Phillips has always liked to keep a bit of herself hidden from view. At 44th birthday, she remains a woman of many facets.

Born Zara Anne Elizabeth Phillips in London on May 15, 1981, her career spans an arc over many different eras and tastes in British history.
