Could Dakota Johnson be ramping up to join James Bond's globe-trotting adventures?

American star Dakota Johnson is reportedly set to play the Bond girl in the next edition of “James Bond” franchise. The Internet is buzzing with rumors that the model best known for her roles in Fifty Shades Darker, How to Be Single, Fifty Shades of Grey or Ben and Kate could be cast as the female lead opposite Daniel Craig.

Johnson already in talks

“The producers have tried to get Dakota before, but she has never been available because of other commitments,” a source close to the production said about the actress. “The discussions have been going on for some time and they are working out the contract details now.”

This 'Johnson to play Bond Girl' Rumor had the internet in a frenzy

Twitter was flooded again Monday with loads of tweets related to the rumor. Some fans even launched an online Facebook page called We Want Dakota Johnson for Bond Girl.
