It has been exactly 7 long years since Bill Paxton died in Los Angeles on February 25, 2017 at the age of 61. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Paxton, a cultural icon
Born William Paxton in Fort Worth on May 17, 1955, his career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in American history. Paxton was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
In 1997 he touched the hearts of millions as Brock Lovett in ‘Titanic’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
