Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Caroline Catz, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Doc Martin really single again?

Catz spotted alone

A fan spotted Caroline Catz walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 11, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Caroline back on the market?

A rep for Caroline Catz was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Monday (January 12), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
