Is the 55-year-old television host officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Cécile de Ménibus, 55, and her partner had split up. Is the former host of ‘La Méthode Cauet’ really single again?

De Ménibus spotted alone

A fan spotted Cécile de Ménibus walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Cécile back on the market?

A rep for Cécile de Ménibus was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the television host was splitting hit the internet Thursday (January 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
