Is the 53-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Christina Applegate, 53, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Married... with Children really single again?

Applegate spotted alone

A fan spotted Christina Applegate walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 29, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Christina back on the market?

A rep for Christina Applegate was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Johnathon Schaech - was splitting hit the internet Sunday (March 30), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
