Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Darby Stanchfield, 53, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Scandal really single again?

Stanchfield spotted alone

A fan spotted Darby Stanchfield walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of November 20, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Darby back on the market?

A rep for Darby Stanchfield was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (November 21), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
