Diane Keaton died in Los Angeles on October 11, 2025 at the age of 79. As a number of online tributes attest, she was one of the most acclaimed actresses of her generation.

Fans of Diane Keaton (Annie Hall, The Godfather, ...) along with the rest of the film industry have been remembering the iconic woman she was.

Keaton, a cultural icon

Born Diane Hall in Los Angeles on January 5, 1946, her career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in American history. Keaton was not just a great actress, she was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1972 she touched the hearts of millions as Kay Adams-Corleone in ‘The Godfather’. Her legacy will continue to grow as new generations of fans are discovering her unique heritage.

Although Diane Keaton is no longer physically here, her presence is more powerful than ever. She left a void that has yet to be filled.
