Is the 51-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Drew Barrymore, 51, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in 50 First Dates, Charlie's Angels or E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial really single again?

Barrymore spotted alone

A fan spotted Drew Barrymore walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Drew back on the market?

A rep for Drew Barrymore was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Friday (May 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
