Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Glória Pires, 62, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Reaching for the Moon, Irrational Heart or O Quatrilho really single again?

Pires spotted alone

A fan spotted Glória Pires walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 22, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Glória back on the market?

A rep for Glória Pires was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Monday (February 23), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
