It has been exactly 3 long years since Helen Reddy died in Los Angeles on September 29, 2020 at the age of 78. As a number of online tributes attest, she was one of the most acclaimed singers of her generation.

Today, fans of Helen Reddy (I Am Woman, ...) along with the rest of the music world have been remembering the iconic woman she was.

Reddy, a cultural icon

Born in Melbourne on October 25, 1941, Helen Reddy's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in Australian history. Reddy was not just a great singer, she was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1972 she touched the hearts of millions with ‘I Am Woman’. Her legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering her unique musical heritage.

It's been 3 years since the tragic loss of Helen Reddy and her personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Helen Reddy is no longer physically here, her presence is more powerful than ever. She left a void that has yet to be filled.
