Is the 54-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Hélène Ségara, 54, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her musical The Hunchback of Notre Dame or I Live for Her, her hit The Hunchback of Notre Dame or I Live for Her really single again?

Ségara spotted alone

A fan spotted Hélène Ségara walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 8, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Hélène back on the market?

A rep for Hélène Ségara was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 9), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
