Is the 54-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jada Pinkett Smith, 54, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Gotham, Hawthorne, The Matrix Revolutions or The Matrix Reloaded really single again?

Pinkett Smith spotted alone

A fan spotted Jada Pinkett Smith walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jada back on the market?

A rep for Jada Pinkett Smith was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Wesley Snipes or Tupac - was splitting hit the internet Friday (May 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
