Is the 56-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Jennifer Lopez, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Boy Next Door or The Wedding Planner really single again?

Lopez spotted alone

A fan spotted Jennifer Lopez walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 12, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jennifer back on the market?

A rep for Jennifer Lopez was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Marc Anthony or Ben Affleck - was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (January 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
