Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Joan Smalls, 37, and her partner had split up. Is the Puerto Rican model really single again?

Smalls spotted alone

A fan spotted Joan Smalls walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Joan back on the market?

A rep for Joan Smalls was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the model was splitting hit the internet Saturday (May 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
