Could Luke Mitchell become the Seventh James Bond?
Mitchell’s star has been rising in recent years thank to critically acclaimed roles in H2O: Just Add Water (2009-2010), Neighbours (2008-2008) and Home and Away (2009-2013). His commercial appeal is growing, too.
The question for Mitchell now is – what next?
Three reasons Luke Mitchell would be good for the James Bond franchise
- It would clarify that Bond is a rotating identity: If M can be a woman, why can't James Bond be a 36-year-old Australian?
- No other performers could be nearly as cool and broodingly suave as Mitchell.
- It would give Luke Mitchell a chance to play a lover, as well as a fighter.
