It has been exactly one year since Michel Blanc died on October 4, 2024 at the age of 72. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.

Blanc, a cultural icon
Born in Courbevoie on April 16, 1952, Michel Blanc's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Blanc was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
In 1984 he touched the hearts of millions as Denis in ‘Walk in the shadow’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
It's been one year since the tragic loss of Michel Blanc and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Michel Blanc is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
