It has been exactly 6 long years since Miloš Forman died in Danbury on April 13, 2018 at the age of 86. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed directors of his generation.

Forman, a cultural icon
Born Jan Tomáš Forman in Caslav on February 18, 1932, his career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in American history. Forman was not just a great director, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
It's been 6 years since the tragic loss of Miloš Forman and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Miloš Forman is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
