Is the 63-year-old director officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Quentin Tarantino, 63, and his partner had split up. Is the director best known for Kill Bill or Pulp Fiction and best known for his role in Reservoir Dogs really single again?

Tarantino spotted alone

A fan spotted Quentin Tarantino walking alone, probably coming back from picking up his mail at the end of his several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 22, 2026. Was he all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “He was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Quentin back on the market?

A rep for Quentin Tarantino was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the director - known for having been romantically involved with Margaret Cho, Julie Dreyfus, Mira Sorvino, Sofia Coppola, Kathy Griffin or Allison Anders - was splitting hit the internet Thursday (April 23), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
