It has been exactly 4 long years since Former James Bond Sean Connery died in Lyford Cay on October 31, 2020 at the age of 90. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.
Today, fans of Sean Connery (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Untouchables, ...) along with the rest of the film industry have been remembering the iconic man he was.
Connery, a cultural icon
Born in Edinburgh on August 25, 1930, Sean Connery's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in British history. Connery was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
In 1989 he touched the hearts of millions as Henry Jones, Sr. in ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.
It's been 4 years since the tragic loss of Sean Connery and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Sean Connery is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
