Is the 77-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Marianne Faithfull, 77, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Broken English or Sister Morphine really single again?

Faithfull spotted alone

A fan spotted Marianne Faithfull walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of November 19, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Marianne back on the market?

A rep for Marianne Faithfull was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Mick Jagger - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (November 20), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
