Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Tatum O'Neal, 62, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role in Paper Moon really single again?

O'Neal spotted alone

A fan spotted Tatum O'Neal walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Tatum back on the market?

A rep for Tatum O'Neal was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (April 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
